i went looking for very old orpington ads ect last night, not like i dont have enough already, found this cute pie. he must have used a bugg on a stick to get it to go...

yep, i used to trot down and get the mail every mornin about a hundred and 20 years ago.

kept my youthful good looks thou..i still look like im 37..

Oh Don: When I Introduce new Blood to a Solid Strain of Birds I Keep My Pure Stock at 15/16 Pure Blood. People do not understand the value of Prepotency in Good Linebred Stock Nor do they Value it as they Should. This is why I sell Limited #'s of Birds. Everybody wants 20 Years of Breeding For a Song and Dance. Then after about 2 Years they are Spouting Off about Their Strain. What a Joke

Alan, Can we consider it their strain after they have ruined it in only a couple of generations?

Very few people these days even know about prepotent males. In two years they probably did your strain in.....so you don't want your name attached to it anyway. lol

Feeling like I should read more before I reply to an interesting post. Seems we are on the same page. I value a prepotent male but really value a prepotent female. In anything. Walt, don't know how you think of your dogs but I believe in having a very strong, solid prepotent Beech line. (Have to phrase it that way, this is BYC after all and there will be some weird auto correct if I don't put my own word in there LOL Although maybe the one from BYC would be funny.)
