Give me straight talk if I'm talking foolishness, but after a couple days mulling over this concept, it seems to me that: One would have to breed every bird one ever hatches to be sure none are prepotent. Male, because of the importance of a "prepotent rooster" and female because of the importance of a "prepotent hen." Just doesn't sound feasible. Or am I off base? And Lordy, the huge font is just weird. No disrespect intended. It's just that I have all settings so that these old eyes can read the normal text then this GIANT text slaps me.I recall Ralph Brazelton talking about this in one of our many phone calls. Forrest Beauford also spoke with me about this. Not everyone knows what the term means. Walt, would you explain this in terms some of the novices can understand?
