Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I thought I post a picture of one of my ball of feathers. Her breeder said hers hens weigh about 15lbs as adult.

Right now she is 6-1/2 month old and weighs maybe about 6-8lbs(guessing).
I hope she continues to grow as big.

Went to the Ohio Nationals yesterday and today. Took pics of a few of the Orps being shown.

Akers Buff hen. Pic does not do her justice. Her head is large

Akers Buff pullet. Sorry about missing the head of her

Some nice large Black cockerels. All shown by guy from MI
ALL birds are APA lines

Same breeders pullet. She is a tank. VERY VERY NICE!!

While taking pics. I talked to an old timer who raises Whites. He has just arrived and had not even put this trio in the sales cage. Long and short is I got these three for $60

I love these pullets. This guy has had a closed White flock for 30 plus years. I asked if he had Cecil Moore lines. He said he bought his starting flock from a farmer just down the road. But he thinks these were from what Cecil had at the time and was raising form the 80's. Many say the have Cecil's lines. Then when you see the pics, usually it looks like something was added. What ever was added here, if anything I like. Just look at how thick the bones are.

You're going to have a lot of fun with those whites. What a bargain.
