Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

as far as comb issues, if you have a better one, lets see.. Post both of them and lets have a look see.

as far as the buffs and whites in the pen together, they are pretty crowded for me to really tell. One of the whites look really nice from what I can tell. Best thing is to take one out at a time and compare it to the beautiful white one posted after yours.

x2. You kind folks have told me that a comb isn't a big deal at all. To cull for a comb must mean you have some pretty fantastic birds. Or so I've been told.

Hee hee! Well, now, I DO love my cockerels and think they are fantastic. But i'm culling not because of astounding other birds, but because keeping so many cockerels is a headache. The comb thing is a personal preference. I didn't post my Alpha boys pic right off as I already posted him a few pages back and was wondering if I should repost, or direct to the old post. I'll look for another pic,

LOL. My point being, as you know, that hopefully it's not JUST the comb.

Culling for comb could also mean I'm new and making mistakes (VERY true), but mostly, I don't like to look at a comb with too many points, and since they're running around my yard eating my feed... Anyway, here he is, the better combed guy, light eyes n all. (that's a white Marans pullet in the back)

He won Best of Breed at the Sussex Show in New Jersey

Not that I think he's all that and a bag of chips. Personally, I think he's too hard on the pullets. Great with my kids ~9 yr old can catch him right up, but hard on the pullets.
