VERY pretty! Thank you so much for some pictures. are your bourbon reds good setters? I just got some royal palms and i am hoping they will make good mothers

Hanna was an excellent mother to 10 poults and 2 chicks. I pulled her out of the nursery after a month or so and she was so upset she would stay outside the nursery and defend it anytime one of the dogs or toms got close. She still rules the yard. I had another bronze hen sitting in the same shed with her but she abandoned the nest at about five weeks so we hatched a few indoors and hanna accepted them with her own when they were about 2 weeks old. It was a great spring lots of fun to watch.
