Post pics of stock from Cackle Hatchery

Australorp:

Cute, and an awesome forager, but shy with people.

White leghorn:

These are some of my favorites. One is more shy, but both are great foragers, and super curious. One likes to follow me and perch on me. Lol. They are identical in color and size.

Austra whites:

I have three. All are similar in personality, with one being more curious and friendly. I really like these also. They are a good mix of their australorp and leghorn parent stock. Very smart and curious birds. They will also be great foragers.

Here are two of mine. One has only one spot, the others have more. I think it varies. The spots show as chicks and get darker as they age.

I don't have pictures but I purchased RIR pullets from Cackle via my local BigR last year. I don't like them nearly as much as those I had from McMurray the previous year. They are mean to the other birds, don't like me checking for eggs and very noisy when laying. One or two are so loud that they get the entire flock going. Also, their eggs aren't as dark nor as big as those from McMurray...So, each of them are going to be repurposed.

Easter eggers:

Okay, I've seen that colors and personalities vary widely for these gals. Some are super friendly, others are super shy. They are all good at finding the food and are robust birds.

Here are some of mine. Ignore anything with barring in these pics, as those are legbar mixes.

I order 15 barred rock pullets from cackle about a little over a month ago they hatched on the 8th last month they all arrived alive and active a few had pasty butt a couple times but after that I've had no problems with them at all besides I think 2 are roos 1 for sure their very active I have them in a coop with 7 three month old hens and they don't mess with them

Sorry for being so late on the pics here they are eating :)

This girl is my favorite barred rock she's blind in her left eye got pecked when she was young shes the friendliest rock :)

And this is my sweetie pie hen she's my favorite chicken she one of the few who doesn't mind being touched she loves it when I scratch her chin, I was literally sitting in the coup sorting through the barred rock pics and she jumped and sat on my arm!! This is only like the 2nd or 3rd time she's done this and shes 3 months old, oh and she's a red sexlink by the way
