Very nice! I would think you could call a chick a pullet, as soon as you have figured out its a girl. Once pullet reaches one year of age, she's a hen.

Here are my girls hanging out in their coop for a few! This was their second time outside. THEY LOVED IT

This is 3 of my 4 chicks. The yellow/black is named Rex (yes a boys name) the middle is my silkie and her name is Sparkle and the nosey rosey up front is my buff orpington named Blake Jr even though she is also a female. lol I named her after my brother who lives with us bc he did NOT want me getting chickens lol The 4th who is MIA in this pick is name Raven she is a BR.

These are my first chickens. I cannot believe how fast I've grown to love them. They are hilarious and lots of fun to watch!!!

Great chicks folks! You gotta love the first-timers! You're going to have a blast! I love chick t.v., lol! My 6 week olds are out free ranging with dog protection, and they're always fun to watch. I have 28 - the more the merrier!

his hatch day is tomorrow he'll be a year old his nick name is Herbert the pervert we've had him for about 4 months with 18 girls but no he has to have the peepers to.......
