Heads up folks! I'm doing one more hatch this year & its a doozie! I'm picking up 18 rare Belgian Malines eggs! They will be set to hatch for July 1st, Canada Day! I can't wait to post pics here! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Was a great, long day! Got my hatching eggs home safe & sound. I told hubby these eggs qualify as my birthday gift, even though its not until the 23rd this month. ChickenFox, does that make you a Cancer or a Leo, being a July 1st baby?
I so can't wait for these eggs to hatch, but will have to! Saw the parents & holy crap, they were big! You could put a dinner plate on his rooster's back! Awesome birds! G'nite folks!

Good Morning!!! Here's a wild chick pic I took a few days ago. There are 4 robin chicks now.


Here's a newly fledged chipping sparrow chick. Got birds building nests all over my place this year!

I'm adding 5 extra mutt eggs to incubate this morning. Shhhh! Don't tell my hubby, LOL! They'll be Cuckoo Marans X Silver Gray Dorking X Black Stars. I couldn't resist my curiosity as to what these might look like. Tee hee!
