I am on broody number 7 right now and she has made me the proudest! I honestly didn't think she would stick with it but she sure did!

I know this is a little off topic of broody leghorns, but ...

I asked in the "What Breed or Gender is This?" section, and only got two answers. So, I thought I might try here, as a few others have asked, too.

The leghorn below that's in question is estimated to be around 7 wks old. Its face and bottom of comb is just starting to pink up, but its legs are still very skinny.

What do you think - roo or pullet?

I've had my flock of Leghorns for about 5 months now. Had one hen, Tara, for 9 months. She is close to 1.5 years old now. The other 4 hens and rooster came to the farm back in late winter/early spring. they are super friendly and curious. They have a great feed to egg ratio.
