does anyone have the mille fluer leghorns from sandhill(or anywhere)? I'm thinking about getting some.

Can you post pics if you do please?

Forgot to mention, my Rooster in the pic is heritage, along with everything else here.

I just found this thread. I haven't read it all, but I enjoyed scrolling through and looking at all the beautiful leghorns. I didn't even know there were this many varieties of leghorns! I have 11 leghorn hens. They are my working girls, and I love them. Mine are not flighty, and come up and eat right out of my hand. They are always curious and looking for a handout. AND they lay the BEST JUMBO eggs!
Here is one of my girls shortly after I put them in this pen. It didn't take me long to realize a 6' pen was not going to keep them in without a netting on top. They all free range now, and our 3 great pyrenees dogs keep them protected.

Someone posted pics of theirs on the first page of the thread I think

There's a woman here in Northern CA who is trying to breed the Milles, she's received multiple orders from Sandhill I believe.

My girls flew to roost in a tree everynight and I mean they were high up in there!!! I couldn't get them down! Thank goodness they outgrew that stage and now go in the coop at night.

Ok here are 2 of the girls at 14 weeks.

Isabel will most likely be the first to lay an egg.
