**Post Pics Of Your Quail Coops/Runs** :D

Well here is my flight that I just got done over the weekend. Turned the pen that I have to raise my baby pheasants into a flight for my quail. I am in the process of cleaning the dirt from a quarantine pen into another flight for my pheasants and was left with this pen.
It is 8'x8'x8' with chicken wire all the way around and hardware mesh around the bottom three feet and two feet of it in the dirt. It backs right up to one of my pheasant pens so I put a fiberglass divider so the pheasants would not scare the quail to much. Once they calm down I will remove it.

Hey PlainViewFarm, The game bird netting you used, is that 1" mesh and what brand is it? Have you found one brand better or hold up longer than another?

PetersonD,
I use Game Bird Netting I purchase from Growers Supply. They are the only company I have purchased from and I've bought 3 rolls of it now for all my enclosures. Here are the specs on it.

NETTING-GAMEBIRD LW 12'X100'
Item# TC2630
NETTING-GAMEBIRD LW 12'X100'
Our Price: $84.95 / EA

It has held up for 4 years now on the Turkey enclosures with no sign of deterioration so I'm quite pleased with it.

I bought used netting like that that is said to be over 13 years old and it looks almost like new! I hope it does well under heavy snow though,

Cody!!

I don't have trouble with the netting when it snows but my Shade Cloth....
WHEW!!!! I had the chain link enclosure walls pulling in on April 1st when we had 10" of snow. Problem was it is installed on top of the netting.

This year I put shade cloth below the netting so I can remove it before winter.
