Post pics of your Red Silkies!

Why do Red Silkies look so ugly as chicks (0-5 weeks old)? Finally two of ours are actually starting to look reddish and like actual silkies...

I don't have any pictures of them at the moment but may take some when all the raining stops. Feel free to post your own pics of Red Silkies as Chicks and Adults though.

I had them for the last few years and sent the last of them to a breeder in IL.
This was one of the roosters I had:

He's definitely darker copper than a regular buff.

Now those are some BEAUTIFUL reds...usually the reds i see are terrible quality
