Post pictures of your coops, chickens and eggs!!

All the pictures of the inside turned out too dark. The appliances were removed as you can see by the holes which we covered with chicken wire for the summer for ventilation and plywood in the winter. The dining area is all nesting boxes as well as the overhead storage bins and where the furnace was.
We used an old screen door and hinged it over the cab-bunk area so that I would have a separate, safe place for my chicks. We also turned the stove and sink area into another separate enclosure.

There is a whole thread of everyone's coop under the coop design and picture thread just FYI, congrats on the new hen house

We have been getting a real odd looking egg. This is the second time in 5 days. Anything I should be worried about? Do you know what could cause this to happen? Anyway to help stop i.t?

It looks to me that the internal membrane in the egg is the material making up the outside of the tail. The first one's seemed a little thicker than the one we found today. Thanks for any ideas, suggestions or help in advance! Inside it is just regular egg white material that's a bit thicker than normal. The shell on the egg is incredibly thin, too. We free feed oyster shells besides feeding layer food. Thanks for any help!
