I've been thinking of getting a quad or so of some coturnix. I kind of fell in love with the little birds when I ended up with eggs from a Chickenstock!

I liked the wild color and they were really laid back and not all spazzy.

I was wondering if you could post some pictures of your favorite colors/birds. Photobucket wont load on this computer though..

I was wondering what the temperament was of the other colors. I'm trying to find a good looking bird that is clam and can be friendly. I'll be spending alot of time handling them when their young.

All of mine are very calm.. My cinnamons are much more vocal then the Wild Color but are still veryy calm and loveable.. I went out and pet and talked to mine last night after having to dispatch a sickly cornishx ... They just sat there and let me love on them ..

AWW So the cinnamons are more vocal? Well I guess I should know because they were the ones peeping all the time at your house

I tried looking up the cinnamon color but a whole bunch popped and they were different colors but still said cinnamon LOL Google doesn't like me.

I think she was maybe tibetian (sp?) and an english or A&M mix. She was a pretty bird though!

Hopefully after turkey season I'll be able to start building some pens. I really like the tibetian and the Italian so far.
