****Post Pictures of Your Hounds!!****

Tiger is a hound mix. I found Tiger and his brother Cooper in a filthy ditch, starving. Brought them home, started crate training asap, Cooper came down with Parvo. We got him throught the Parvo and a woman from the vet clinic adopted him. Cooper is now a proud member of the USMC family, currently stationed in Japan!

Tiger is 70 lbs. and a very sweet natured dog, unless you are a squirrel. He has been pretty easy to train, especially compared to my Lab.

This is civilized Tiger, with his favorite snack.

And here's the beauty shot!

Any guesses as to parentage? There was a huge colony of feral dogs, but I suspect the dad was a Walker? hound and mom was a brindle pit mix.

Any guesses will be welcome!

ETA, this is the dog who survived a copperhead bite 2 weeks ago.

I think I have seen a dog like him before but I just can't put my finger on it as to what breed he was or even where I saw him...

LOVE the sighthounds! Had a Saluki for years, she was a very smart girl. A friend of mine in Austin had a Borzoi- she would steal anything from the countertops and bury it out back. Knives, candles, address book, can opener.....................

Kyra is mighty pretty, too.

Well here are some pictures of my Basenji (sight and scent hound), Otis , as well as our foster Basenji, Bana
Here they are on my quiet couch (no loud noises aloud in that room), from left, Otis 6 mo. old, Gus (Dachshund), 5 yrs and Bana 2.5 yrs.
