Post pictures of your girls nesting boxes!! Does anyone have curtains in theirs? I would like to see that!

no pics as my boxes are not made yet, but I did buy material for my coops window and for my nesting boxes, Just putting the finishing touches on my coop.

Why exactly do people put up curtains?

I read the benefits are many! 1, it keeps the nesting boxes dark and quiet, a preferable place to lay an egg
2. out of sight, out of mind, it may prevent others from egg-eating, and 3. they're just so cute!! ( obviously I added the 3)

Here are my curtains... funny story... I fell in love with this fabric and got it as a remnant (less than 1 yard or so) and then, about a month later I talked the hubby into chickens and we bought this coop. It totally matches the curtains!! (well enough) I just new I had to have that fabric!
