Post your abnormal egg pictures!

I just started out in this wonderful hobby and got my first egg from one of my RIR hens today. It was normal. But, after looking through the threads and all the abnormal egg posts I thought it'd be fun and informative to put the pictures into one thread. Sorry if this has already been done. I did a search and didn't find one. I understand most of the abnormal eggs are just the hen's system going a little haywire, but if you have a picture of an egg that is abnormal because of a health issue please post. Maybe this way less people will post asking what is wrong with their hen. Any abnormal egg picture is welcome!

I don't know what hen is laying these, but I get one every three weeks or so. Most of them get broken by the time I get to it.

So it's just the membrane and it happens on schedule? Weird. My grandmother was telling me about these eggs from when she had chickens. I thought it was a calcium problem, but obviously not if you're only getting 1 a month.

I've done some reading up on it and apparently it happens sometimes during the end of a cycle or the beginning of a new cycle. All of my other eggs have excellent shell quality.

The tiny egg in my picture feels empty. Never cracked it open, its just too cute. LOL. It was also her second egg that day! 1.5 eggs in one afternoon.

I have that problem with my Buff Orpington. She has a soft shell quite regularly, but they get stuck!!! Not fun....You're lucky if your hens are passing them without problems.

Ever seen one of these? The rare egg of a Stupid Chicken. Way to step on my first egg girls! My first egg that I waited so long and worked so hard for.
