Post Your Crushes Thread 3.0

*le sigh* Well, there was quite the sad silence around the barn today.
Lil Mitzi's unborn baby has died.
I tried to get my mind off of it by cantering Velavet, but 1) she hasn't been worked in so long so she kept wanting to go fast and 2) I was so devastated I literally couldn't sit the canter correctly (which I, not to brag at all, am pretty good at the canter so not sitting the canter right is not normal for me.) and kept falling forward. I literally got so mad that I got off Velavet, tied her up, slammed my fist on a wall and cussed at myself to get it together, then got back on Velavet and finished our ride.
I'm just so devastated... Poor mare. Her leg, however, IS healing up. I think it was just stiffness in the tendons from being in her stall so much. I ended up cantering her, planning just to gently walk-trot her, today and she was fine. So her leg has healed up finely, but her unborn baby has died.

I am sorry about the foal :( I have lost one before. But you mare is going to be okay.... you can give her herbs to help her. Did the vet remove the baby?"

I'm so sorry TechnoCat That's terribly sad, I can't imagine. :(

Megan, how did your date go?

I am still waiting for that too :p
Actually we never went, I worked my butt off on Friday and was tired out and dad wasn't feeling very good so we stayed home, I'll probably be forced to go another game, but for now I got out of it, we lost the game anyway, our home team did, so it wouldn't have been a very good first impression anyway.

@Chic CAN: Yes, the vet removed the dead foal. I just feel like it's all my fault... I'm not really dealing with it very well. I feel like I did something wrong and I'm just so devastated. I've got my second best jumper back (Angel being the first, she can jump up to almost five feet and Lil Mitzi jumps up to four foot two.), but it's not the way I anticipated her return...
