Claires is great for jewelry cuz its cheap and not the end of the world if it gets lost or broken. I always have my wedding ring on, but earrings are only 1-2 times a week when I get out into town. My little guy is finally safe around ear rings.... most of the time.

. I'm just not pampered the way most girls my age (around here) are. All my friends family's are better off "money wise" and have never worked a day in their lives. Me? I was helping hang Sheetrock with my dad when I was 6. I was working cattle and riding horses when I was 7. I was training horses when I was 8. I was running our farm and mowing lawns to pay for chicken food when I was 10. I was working 16 hour days in my parent's restaurant when I was 12 (again, to make a few bucks for chicken feed). You get the point. And when I'm stressed, I stack some hay bales to distract myself, not get a pedicure. And I'm lovin' it too. 
Hey thats awesome. I've never had a mani or pedi, cut my own hair too. Though my daughters are girly girls so I bought all the stuff for it and paint their nails at home to save$$ and keep the prissiness down. Though they aren't to afraid to get dirty. I worked my tail off at the age of 13 and bought my own horse. We didn't have a farm... though I brought home every animal that needed one. I worked to feed them too since we were struggling with my dad's up and down work (contractor). I had a good life. Then bought some nice clothes once I had my own paycheck after joining uncle sam.
