i would like to know your favorite about raising sillkies.

i have never raised them myself but i would like to know about
your story.

Our first Silkie Charli was also our first chicken! He got to live here at the house for 4 months before going to the coop. He is my DDs favorite bird and she would kill me if I ever tried to get rid of him

He's a pretty good roo... all though he keeps trying to flog my toddler

I think he's jealous of his natural good looks and charm

Here is one of my current silkies:

He's very sweet so far. I am choosing between him and another silkie roo. I may just keep this one

I have a few Silkies. They are the best pets that I have ever had. And believe me I have had a few. Gentle, they talk to you, (chicken talk) and very friendly. Plus what looks better than a Silkie in your yard?

It's a chicken that looks like a cotton ball, feels like a rabbit and is as friendly as a lap dog. With the bonus of giving you eggs and baby fluffy butts. Love them!

We just recently got chickens and three of them are silkies. I love the silkies! They always want to come over where you are, they're so friendly. When we pick them up and scratch their heads, they fall asleep. So cute!

My Sister and I also fell in love with Silkies at the end of last year. They are beautiful, friendly, laid back, they even talk to us.
