You can get oyster shell from the same place you get the chicken feed.

My first eggs! They are from a wheaten Maran named Ethel, and she's been laying them every other day. She has a sister named Lucy who sits in the box with her when she lays, and then two black Ameraucanas who are a couple of weeks younger but the three of them are not producing yet.

Our 1st egg! We have 3 light brahmas and 2 buff brahmas don't know which one...

All four of the girls went into the coop and hung out while she tried to find a good position in the box and then Lucy climbed in the box with her. When the egg came Lucy and I both jumped! (well, maybe she jumped because I did, lol!)
