Not my first egg, but my first egg IN an egg today! We cracked it open right away because we wanted to see inside. Ha! Thin shell, full yolk and white, then egg with full yolk and white ...again. Weird...but very cool.

Our first egg! I noticed it when I was going to put our puppy Great Pyrenees up for the night (I have them sleeping in the coop together). Walking up to close the door there was an egg right next to the door on the floor of the coop. It was dark and I don't know who it was. Maybe our austerlorp or SLW? Production Red?

My blue and black English Orps are nearly 29 weeks and not laying. Orps can take a bit longer and the days are getting shorter as well.
