Here is my first ever egg from my chickens

Our first 2 eggs were laid this past Saturday. I wasn't there for their "first steps" but we've had plenty more since

It came from my 20 week old Delaware.

The first two on the left appeared Monday night, I actually witnessed my GC lay the third the following morning. So proud.

Got my first "fart" egg about 3 days ago, then a real shelled egg, then one more. I think just one of my girls is laying these, but it's weird. I have 3 sex-links all the same age. Lucy LOOKS the most mature, with bright red comb. Ethyl's comb not so big or bright. Goldie's comb very pale. I didn't see WHO laid the egg I assumed it was Lucy, but Ethyl sure was singing that egg song!

I know it's been a while ago since you posted but did you ever figure out which hen laid the eggs?

Nope not our only one, we've got three all together.
