Got another egg today. Our 2nd. Got the first yesterday. At this rate we'll have enough for egg sandwiches by the weekend. Lol..

Yippee! One of my BRs finally gave me my first egg. It was under the roost not in the nesting box, but we can work on that. I am super excited.

Put a golf ball in the nest boxes. I wasn't sure that would actually work. but I got my first egg yesterday, and second one today. both were in an nest box with a golf ball each, in it.

We have 4 Red Rangers, 2 Production Reds, 2 Buff Orphingtons and 2 Easter Eggers. Other than the fact it was not one of the EEs I am not sure which one laid it.

WOW!! That egg is HUGE for a first time layer!! What type of hen gave you that beauty? My Barred Rock gave me my first one last week and she's now just started laying daily eggs but they are on the small side, especially if you compare it to yours!!
