I got my first bantam egg today. Seen BBQ sitting in the box. Went back out half hour later and found the little egg. Now I have 3 laying eggs, 5 more to go

Off topic, but a good and useful chicken breed abbreviation glossary by "Mattsculpt" is hidden on this site:

Before I found it, I learned breed abbreviations strictly by osmosis (observation, context, photos, and Google searches).
Here is one Mattsculpt should add:

BS = Black Star (they're egg-laying machines, quite personable, with very attractive plumage).
