Our first eggs this morning!! Yay!!

Here it is! Our first egg from the lovely lady Astrud (black star) in the background.



This was day one...a few days later and one turned into:



Yay! We've since gotten 6/6 a few times. Pretty cool. (and that large light blue one from the EE was a double yolk, that's why it is so big)

WOW! woodmouse! Goodeggs! I do want some colored eggs. All I have so far is white. But they are tasty. Which, as I figure it, is fine with me.

We got our first egg yesterday, I am assuming it was from my Tetra Tint as she is the oldest and the egg is white. The only other chicken I have that will lay a white egg is a White Leghorn.

Looks small for a tetra, but congrats... my tetra was our best layer before she died.

Do you think the White Leghorn could have laid the egg? she is 16 weeks old, the Tetra Tint is 17 or 18 weeks old.
