Got my first egg today!! It's tiny but solid!! Lol it had to be from one if my red stars or Rhode Island reds.. Since it's light brown they were hatched April 27th!!

Yes we feed them. We do have predators but they rarely come onto the land.

This is actually my second egg from my girls. I have three red sexlinks and two black sexlinks. I cried from joy when I saw my first egg

Every egg I get every day is like a first egg. I love going out every day to collect the eggs.

As mentioned, Friday we got first ever egg from our gold star, Saturday our SLW started, and now today our EE dropped her first egg.

Is it normal for them to all start laying together like this? Peer pressure?

Now we just have two little d'uccles left to start laying. They are the same age, but I don't think they are at all close.

Within the past 2 weeks all mine began laying one after another. I think thy do influence eachother to lay.
