In the middle of this Arctic Vortex and nightly temps -0 I got my first egg. Everyone is 19 weeks, I believe this is from one of my Welsummers! Found in one of the 4 nest boxes.

New flock, mixed flock of 11 hens and one suppose to be a hen Rooster. I got my first egg this morning it is one the small side but I don't care it is about time these girls started paying their rent. They will be 18 weeks old tomorrow.

out of my 2 bantams, only one is laying and she is extremely inconsistent, but i expected that.
