A loooooong time. The eggs you get from the store are usually a month old by the time you buy them. I usually just drop them in water before I crack them to be sure it's good if in not sure. If it touches the bottom it's fine. If it floats toss it. Usually you can smell it when an egg is bad. There's no real set amount of time they stay good. Fridges are different and such. Just test them if they have been in there a while
What about incubating how can I keep eggs so they live and I can put them in incubator

Supposedly they are good for a full week at room temperature and even if they have been in the fridge. However, they have the best chance of hatching if they are incubated within 3 days. After that your hatch rate will usually decline.

i would never suggest this of course but my mom read a stor about a guy who bought six quail eggs that had been refrigderated and he decided to put them in an incubator. and one of them hatched! he named it Miracle and made it his pet. i would never do that though. and my sebright had her eggs in the nest for 14 days and ten out of eleven eggs hatched. in the summer.

I am new to chickens, but I have been around chickens and turkeys. I think that would be funny and entertaining if it worked. The chicks would b as big as the hen in no time.

I don't know who laid the white egg, but I'm guessing it was one of the cochins. Both Australorps have laid in the past few days - first eggs ever! It's like Christmas! :)
