I got a lot of free Priority mail boxes from the PO, but some of what I am shipping are CDs, so it's cheaper to go with mediamail. Can I ship them in a priority mail box, even though the class is media mail?

Nope. Unless you turn the box inside out so no one sees that it is Priority Box

you are better off to get the media mailers, they weigh less.

Wrap them in brown paper taped well. Media mail is subject to search and if they find the priority mail box, you will likely be charged priority mail rates.

Thanks! I may have to invest in some mailers... otherwise, I'll just use kraft paper 9*6 envelopes.
