Posting videos in a thread???

Hi! I was wondering, how can I post a video of something on a thread? I have a webcam on my laptop. I've seen people post them before. But how do you do it? Can you upload a video from your file like you do with pictures and then copy the url and post it and it will be like posting a picture, only it will be a video?

No, Nifty said (a while ago) that it would be hard to set up the forum for that. It would be cool, though!

Your best bet is to embed it into your BYC Member Page and link to that from your signature.

We should definitely have something where we can upload videos (just like images) on here. It would be really helpful and cool! Like if someone wanted to post a video of candling an egg right on their thread?

It would be much easier to just upload a video and post the url.
But your probably right, Nifty; it would be too complicated and hard to set something up like that.

Image hosting = easy. Video processing / converting / storage is tricky.

So, ya, use any number of the services out there like YouTube, photobucket (yup they do video), etc. then link from here to there.
