I'm new at the pig thing so a little help would be nice. My pig in 11 weeks old and hadn't had much handling with the breeders. He is a inside pig so trying to lofty train when he has accidents I tell him no but then I have to pick him up to take him out and he squeals. I just wonder if there's a better way so he learns where the door is? Because I feel hes not learning when I pick him up and hes affraid. Haven't got him walking on a leash hey eather. Can some one help

I have a PBP who does NOT like being picked p off all 4's but does not mind one bit about having his front legs alone lifted, that’s why he is screaming.
What kind of collar/harness are you using for him atm? I made my own from one I had from my little dogs (I will take pictures of it and how I put it on him ect and he stays calm for you it's easier than explaining)

as for the walking on the leash whatever you do DONOT pull him/drag him trying to make him walk. Try making him want to follow you! I used treats such as small bites of an apple, or other things low in fat (low fat horse treats work well all mine seem to love the apple one).
And be very positive with him. I don't know if yours tends to go to the bathroom in the same spot or not but maybe put a puppy pad there. Mine are not house pets but my boar is the sweetist thing and he gets to go to MANY places with me.

this web site may also help you some they have a phone number to call. http://rossmillfarm.com/

I hope this is somewhat helpful, I'm pretty new to PBP's but have learned A LOT since getting my Takoda (my Boar)
