I attended a ladies' pot luck luncheon today. This morning I decided I would make something that didn't require making a trip to the grocery store for ingredients. So I made deviled eggs - eggs from my hens - all laid within the past few days. They were delicious and every single one was eaten. Such an easy and inexpensive way to contribute to a meal! So nice having food-producing pets! Also, after I had cooked the eggs, they were super easy to peel. Was wondering if fresh farm eggs are easier to peel than grocery store eggs.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
