Just wondering if potatoes are ok for chickens and if I can give raw or should it be cooked??

Cooked is fine. Raw is ok in small amounts, but raw potato starch is hard for non-ruminants to digest. I give mine potato peelings all the the time, but not buckets full of them.

There's few things my chickens like more than a big ol' bowl of leftover mashed taters. Love sweet taters too.

i give potatoe peeling all the time, they love the stuff
and they are addicted to left over mashed potatoes

luke.

Potatoes and their peels, raw or cooked are just fine for chickens.
However, GREEN peelings and potatoes should NEVER be fed to animals or people; compost them only. The toxic chemical solanin gets concentrated in the green bits.
