Adorable potential olive-egger chicks - 1 week old as of 8/3. Mother is Welsummer (she lays a good dark speckled egg), father is Silver Ameraucana roo (light blue eggs.....from the hens not the roo
). These are the first hatch of first generation babies, so I have no idea what the actual egg color will be, but I am looking forward to finding out.
