Potential predator in the pen

Found these fresh dug holes this morning. Any ID ideas welcomed.

Can you rake away the straw and take pics of the holes in the dirt?

To me it looks like the holes skunks dig up in search of GRUBS,,
I get similar size holes regularly in my lawn area.
Skunks are nocturnal.
Skunks are a good animal. Yes I am aware of their potential, but I have a good relationship with the ones in my area. I walk gently, and do not frighten them. They see me as a non threat.
