Check the toe number and spacing. There should be five on each foot, with adequate spacing such that one does not appear to be fused into the other. Keep watching his growth, and make sure his feathers fill out a little more than that before you consider showing him.

Assuming he is mature, his chest looks a bit small to me. Crest seems okay a long with feet feathering.
