Birds dont poop solid logs like mammals because they are supposed to fly

Their digestive system is made to lose weight as soon as possible. So a healthy bird on an average day poops everything out as fast as it can

Going broody is like changing modes. Broody mode is completely seperate from "normal" mode. Nothing short of rewiring the brain could make a bird be capable of being potty trained

its been questioned and tried to death for decades. Other then highly intelectual tropical birds its never been done

This is kinda gross but my baby ducks are crapping some turds in their pen at night that would make my dogs proud. I'm talking "logs"! I don't remember any of my other ducks ever doing that. I should post a picture for our poop expert to examine!

hahaha yeah ive seen ducklings do that. The way they eat itd be like you eating 10 big mac twice a day! youd see some movements then

they aren't exactly ducklings anymore though they are almost 7 months old now. I guess I should stop calling them "babies"!
