Their digestive system is made to lose weight as soon as possible. So a healthy bird on an average day poops everything out as fast as it can
Going broody is like changing modes. Broody mode is completely seperate from "normal" mode. Nothing short of rewiring the brain could make a bird be capable of being potty trained
its been questioned and tried to death for decades. Other then highly intelectual tropical birds its never been done
