Potty training chickens.....

A random question but has anyone been able to train a chicken to use a litter box?

I know of a lady in Tempe who just had one chicken in the house and it would only poop on the floor in one corner of the kitchen. (and in the box where it slept with the family dog... and where it also laid it's egg, but it had the run of the house)

My rooster, whenever he came inside, learned he just goes in his crate to use the bathroom. He doesnt come inside anymore, but he still remembers it. Even in the coop, he poops only in one corner. He just kinda taught himself.

schweeet niblets.....when all my kids are moved out of the house in 18yrs i am sooo potty training a whole flock of guard chickens to live in my house! muhaahaahaaaaa!

It is! But be carefull, chickens become extreamly spoiled and pampered when they live in the house.
