I have a 9 week old poult that suddenly seems to have something wrong with one of its eyes. It was fine yesterday. The actual eye ball appears to be bulging a little bit. Around the eye seems ok, just the eye ball is bigger and it looks a bit bluish or cloudy. I've never seen this before. I've had chickens get pecked in the eye, but then they usually close the lid. This poult isn't closing the eye lid at all. The other 2 poults with this one seem fine as do the parent turkeys. This one doesn't seem to have any other issues. Not acting sick at all, no nasal discharge, not droopy, or hunched. It acts normal, but this eye is definitely not normal. It may be turning its head slightly when it looks at me, always looking with the normal eye with the funny one away. Anybody ever heard or seen something like this before?
