Just out of curiosity, why would you get turned down. I am new to chickens and am not sure what you would have to have checked?

All poultry transferred from one person to another, unless on the sellers own property, must have a NPIP blood test or face a $1200 fine or up to a year in jail.... Needless to say, I'm not a fan of being put in jail and I don't profit off of the swap, so I really didn't wanna start $1200 in the hole...
