My 5 peepers just finished their Corid treatment. They did a total of 7 days- today is their last day. Today they also turned 2 weeks old. Tomorrow they start their vitamins. I got the Rooster Booster Poultry Cell and the Nutri-Drench. can someone let me know what is the correct dosage for both and for how long to have them on it? I’m new to this :) I wanted to do the nutri-drench tomorrow because I was told it was fast acting and then continue with the Poultry Cell for the remainder of the treatment (is this correct?). Any advice on what course I should follow with both vitamins? And if there’s anything else to do after the vitamins as well. TYIA

To my knowledge, Corid only depletes B1. Rooster Booster does contain B1, but it's also loaded with other vitamins that can tax small chicks if given in too high a dosage or for too long. Nutri-drench does not contain B1 and will be useless in this case. I really only save it for lethargic or distressed birds.

If your chicks are perky and active, no supplementation is needed after their Corid treatment. If you really want to give one of the two, Rooster Booster is the more relevant option. The dosage is on the bottle (dilute 1oz per gallon of water). This scales down to about a half tablespoon for a 32oz chick waterer. I would only offer for a few hours, maybe once a day for up to a week. Fresh batch each time. Fresh, untreated water in between. That should give them a bit of a top off without overdosing them. But again, if they're looking good, I would skip it.

Adorable pic, by the way!
