Aww, they are so darn cute! Sorry about Sweety-Poo.

Thanks! This was the only time I EVER saw them all up on that burly stump. I had come out to check on them and there they were, posing just like that. So I told them to "STAY", crossed my fingers and ran back inside for the camera. Thankfully they all did stay. But of course moments after taking the pic, they one by one hopped off.

As for Sweety-Poo....I keep my quail in large aviaries with 6 foot tall ceilings. She was a powerful flyer. And one night something was prowling around the aviaries and scared her. She must have flown straight up and hit the ceiling breaking her neck. I keep a lot of quail and have done so for nearly a decade. And never have any of them flown into the ceiling. She was the only one I had ever gotten so close to. So it was a pretty sad day.

Personality: She's sweet and lets us et her occasionally. She runs from us but has never tried to bite. overall a sweet girl and very docile

Personality: Very bossy, leader of the pack even over the roo. Lets us pet her. Doesn't like to be picked up bot tolerates it after a minute, Very sweet and very hungry!

I would be exited too! I cant wait until one of my roosters becomes full grown.. he is a Splash Orpington! He is so darn cute right now!
