Hello,
I discovered a link from University Of Florida that is extremely helpful for disease diagnosis and treatment:
http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044
It includes a chart with symptoms and what diseases they are associated with. Hope you find it as valuable as I did!
Just thought I'd share, since I spent three days trying to find information to diagnose and treat two of my chickens this Holiday weekend while my vet was out of town. I own the Chicken Health Handbook which contains extensive information, but it unfortunately is very hard to make sense of the way the information is organized...I kept thinking: "Why don't they just have all of the information in a chart?!"
My Appenzellers almost died of ulcerative enteritis, but luckily I was able to diagnose and treat her with the right antibiotic in time to save her! She is finally up and walking around this morning!
