Poultry Fencing?

Quick question: Can raccoons, coyotess, dogs, and any other common SE US predator I've forgotten tear through poultry netting?

Chicken wire is to keep chickens in. It does nothing to keep predators out. And SC has LOTS of nasty preds!

Many use the hardware cloth around the bottom and welded wire on the upper portions. If you're not going to have small chicks, you can get by with 2 X 4 welded wire for the entire run

You can use electric to fortify your coop, also.

I have heard that 20 gauge chicken wire is sufficiant to use on a chicken run. Any advice??
