I found a company called Farm Boy. They sell nonporous panels for coop floors. They are 24in x 60in. I am thinking of using them in my permanent coop when I build it.

Let me know if you use these or if you think they are appropriate.

Thank you all again for all the advice and live.

I looked at it. I do not think it is appropriate for backyard chickens.

It looks like it is designed for caged birds because of the eggs being lain on it as a selling point, poop being worked through the 1" gaps as a selling point, and all comparisons being to wire or wood slats.

Better would be a solid floor with deep litter or deep bedding. Poop does not fall through slats or grids that are small enough for the chickens to walk on comfortably. And it won't be worked through by walking on it unless the chickens don't have enough space to be remotely comfortable. They do not watch where they walk at all and have no hesitancy to walk on it but they poop a lot and their feet are skinny toes that are not well suited for working poop down through holes.

What did you like about the panels? We might be able to help with better options or explanations for what about flooring you are concerned about.

Nonpourous and can be sanitized periodically. We're the biggest factors. And the price to put in a 10x 10 floor was reasonable.
