I have been raising chickens for about 8 years. They are the super stars on my little homestead. We just added a rooster to the flock in the past 4 months so they could be safer while free ranging.
I also raise bobwhite quail for past 2 years-currently have about 30. The intent was to raise them for eggs and meat but i just enjoy them so much i dont use either. So far they have zero interest in hatching their own eggs.
I just purchased 3 turkey poults and they are so cute and docile. I try not to look at them too much or get attached, but... I know NOTHING about turkeys and have quite a few questions.
