Poultry show judging info... need to know by 1pm today

feathers and judging my birds are caged ready to be taken for judging tonight, problem is the cage is knawing up their tail feathers. to late to change breeds. what will the judge think of frayed tail feathers? and if you win, do you get to keep your bird or is it sold? what is premium? please help, hurry.

As for the tail feathers, see if you can smooth them out a bit before you stuff them into the show cage. Once they're in there, they don't usually come out until after they're judged.

THIS WEEKEND AT SHAWNEE EXPO CENTER. LOVE TO DO TULSA BUT I WOULD HAVE TO ENTER LATE AND I THINK THE FEE IS TRIPLE HEAD WHAT EVER THAT MEANS

There are no terminal shows for exhibition poultry that I know of. The show at Shawnee typically is a really good show with lots of competition. Premium money is the money awarded for the place of the bird. Is your daughter showing as a junior or is she in the open show? If she is an FFA member, that show used to be an easy place to win Outstanding FFA Exhibit. I won it with only three birds in the show.
