Breed: Mottled serama x mille fleur d’uccle
Gender: Rooster
Cheeto was one of the few roosters not in my rooster-only flock. He was polite to the hens and super tolerant of cockerels. He also was watchful and protective, but completely unaggressive to people. He made the funniest noises. Sadly, he died about a year ago to suspected Marek’s disease.

Though I believe australorps were bred out of orpingtons, they’re still a different breed. They’re not just black Orpingtons.

Technically they're an enhanced version of the original, but were dubbed differently due to a few minor differences, one being egg laying ability.

They said the broodiness was bred out, but I had 2 Australorps go broody a few times.

Awe! I have an even softer spot for bantam Cochin roos its something about them thinking they’re so big and bad but they actaully look like a beach ball!

Mine looks more like a pumpkin! Partridge Cochin Rooster. (loves his waddles rubbed too)
