As long as I have chickens I will always have Biels. They are a fantastic breed. My rooster is tolerant of us . I wouldn’t say any of my roosters are sweet or seek out affection. My Biel hens are the most affectionate and best layers out of all my breeds. I would also say they are the largest of my breeds which include Brahmas and Orpingtons.

IMO you can’t go wrong with Biels.

Yep, & she's the best looking I've hatched out from my hatchery stock.

PBRs have the best personalities. My favorite breed by far, yet I have none right now!

They are the most inquisitive and social birds by far. Followed by our Buff Orphingtons.
